The Stump family - owners
of the Schpluegenschloss, aspire to the "minor art of being more hosts
than managers" in this bijou Zurich hotel that is close to the city's
famous lake plus all the leading services and attractions.
Location
Guests are within easy
walking distance of the celebrated Bahnhofstrasse (pedestrian zone), shops,
businesses (including the banking zone) and the Zurich-See (the city's
lake). The Spluegenshcloss is twenty minutes from Zurich International
Airport and close to the city's Hauptbahnof (main rail station). There
is free parking available outside the hotel.
Bedrooms
The recently renovated
and furnished rooms provide an elegant, yet homely feel. All bedrooms
are en-suite with bath/shower, most have air-conditioning and some are
non-smoker-rooms. All come with the full kit demanded by today's well-travelled
guest; TV, telephone, PC/fax connection, safe, mini-bar, et cetera.
Restaurants
The Schlossrestaurant
is open daily for lunch and dinner serving up the house's "vital cuisine".
A small bar, the drawing room and the salon are all available for guests
to enjoy a cocktail before or after their meal.
Business Facilities
Conference room accommodating
18 to 30 persons with screen, blackboard, flip chart, projector, phone,
TV-Video and air-conditioning.
