Introduction
Located on the recently
restored cobbled passageway called Biedermeier, this elegant hotel combines
top-draw location with old world charm. "Biedermeier" refers to the era
when composers, painters and poets contributed to the fame of Austrian
Classicism. The passageway is typical of the narrow cobbled streets that,
together with Vienna's grand boulevards, fuse the city's complex blend
of the medieval and the imperial.
Location
The hotel is within walking
distance of many of the Austrian capital's major sights. The nearby U-Bahn
station at Rochus Gasse enables guests to take full advantage of Vienna's
well-developed underground network. Garage car-parking is available on
request.
Bedrooms
All the bedrooms are
decorated in the original Biedermeier style. Rooms are en-suite and come
with all the usual facilities such as TV and telephone. Non-smoking rooms
are available on request.
Restaurants
Buffet breakfast is included
in the price. Lunch and dinner may be taken in the hotel's cafe, bars
or restaurants. The Terrace and Wintergarden restaurants serve up quality
Viennese cuisine, while the Weissgerber Stube pub joins simpler fare with
a wide range of beers. For something funky try out the hotel's cellar
vault with its live music and fruity wine. Then draw your day to a well-earned
close with a cocktail at the hotel's main bar.
