Introduction

In the heart of The City
of London financial district, Threadneedles takes its name and address
from one of London's most famous banking streets. But where once the area
was all about high finance, it is now also home to increasing amounts
of culture and after-hours entertainment. Within walking distance of the
hotel are famous tourist attractions such as St. Paul's Cathedral, the
Monument, the Tower of London, the Tate Modern and HMS Belfast. Threadneedles
is also close to a number of Tube and overground rail stations such as
Bank and Liverpool Street.
Bedrooms
Rooms in Threadneedles
have been decked out in a beautifully relaxed contemporary style, in keeping
with the hotel's 'boutique' approach. Dramatically plain walls are adorned
by abstract art, the beds are laid out in Egyptian cotton and duck down
