Kensington Palace - Princess
Diana's former residence - is next door to the hotel in the leafy surrounds
of Kensington Gardens, a lovely green space that flanks Hyde Park. A short
walk away are some of London's best museums such as the Natural History
Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Shoppers
flock to Kensington High Street for its mix of chain and designer stores
while Harrods and other Knightsbridge outlets are also a short walk away.
The Royal Garden is within a minute's walk of High Street Kensington underground
station, which provides access to the rest of London's attractions.
Bedrooms
Rooms are right up there
at the top of the comfort pile. Elegantly decorated and well-equipped,
each features mini-bar, multi-channel TV, desk area, modem point and air-con.
Satellite conferencing is also available on request and there are a wide
variety of suites from which to choose should you fancy some extra space.
Restaurants
For some of the best views in town, grab a seat in The Tenth, a much-praised
restaurant and cocktail bar on the top floor of the hotel featuring quality
international cuisine. Lighter meals are on tap at the Park Terrace, which
overlooks Kensington Gardens from the lobby level. Bertie's Bar has a
relaxing clubby feel and serves drinks until the small hours.
Business Facilities
You'd have to travel
a long way to find a hotel with better business facilities than the Royal
Garden. There's a 24-hour business centre and 12 conference and banqueting
rooms, as well as voice mail, internet access and desk space in all rooms
