Introduction
Georgian
by name and Georgian by architecture, the Georgian House is a handsome,
well-appointed, privately-run hotel (it's been under the same ownership
since 1973) in an excellent, well-served location.
Location
Close to Madame Tussauds, Oxford Street and Hyde Park, the Georgian
also makes an excellent base from which to explore the rest of London
as it's near Baker Street Underground station, which is an intersection
for several tube lines running to most destinations in the capital.
Bedrooms
Rooms,
especially since the refurbishment, are smartly decorated, their high
ceilings adding the feeling of space that's missing in so many hotels.
Standard facilities include en-suite bathrooms with telescopic drip-dry
fitment, TV, tea/coffee making equipment and direct dial phones.
