Introduction
A lovely townhouse hotel
in one of London's most fashionable areas, The Cranley has recently been
the subject of a major refurbishment programme that has given it advanced
in-room technology while leaving the charmingly traditional interior design
intact.
Location
South Kensington is London's
main museum area, with the Victoria and Albert, Natural History and Science
Museums all to be found in this upmarket district. Nearby is Knightsbridge
with its panapoly of designer boutiques and, of course, the world famous
Harrods department store. The rest of London is within easy reach by tube.
Two stations are less than five minutes walk away.
Bedrooms
Spacious, beautifully,
and newly, decorated and furnished rooms are well equipped. Air-con, satellite
TV (with internet access), hairdryer, work desk, and ISDN lines are standard
in the majority of rooms. The rooms without some of these hi-tech features
are designed specifically with families in mind and have kitchen facilities.
Some rooms have four-poster beds, many more have canopy beds.
Restaurants
Breakfast is taken in the bedrooms and a nice line in afternoon tea is
served between 4 and 5pm.
