and style of accommodation, the City Hotel has rightly won plaudits from
both business and tourist travellers, especially since a recent large-scale
refurbishment and the launch of the Lane Bar. Unusually, it also boasts
a large car park with limited coach space on offer.
Location
Good for quick access
to The City's financial district and close to the newly-thriving Shoreditch
area, the City Hotel offers a welcome alternative to the usual west London
or West End establishment. It's a 15-minute walk, or less, to most of
the City's major institutions and a short Tube ride to Liverpool Street
and Kings Cross stations (giving airport access), the Barbican arts complex
and the West End.
Bedrooms
Space is the watchword
at the City Hotel. Standard rooms are large and comfortable, while studios
and suites offer even more space with kitchenette area included.
Business Facilities
A conference room/exhibition centre of a high standard is available, with
a capacity of 45 seated or 120 standing buffet-style. The hotel is happy
to provide technical back-up.
