Introduction
For 20 years the Rus
has welcomed over a million guests and conference attendees, ranging from
movie stars to masters of aviation. Delegations of US congressmen, NATO
representatives and European mayors have all enjoyed the hill top view
of a hotel set in peaceful surroundings but at close proximity to the
city of Kiev.
Location
The hotel RUS is something
of a landmark commanding a panoramic view of the city below, including
the Olympic stadium arena. The Rus is just a short walk away from Kiev's
historical and architectural sites, and there's plenty of entertainment
on offer in the form of theatres and shops.
Bedrooms
All rooms come with a
bathroom, air conditioning, colour TV with cable, phone, and refrigerator.
Most also have electronic locks and air-conditioning. Natural wood furnishings
add a refined finish.
Restaurants
The Rus serves up a gourmet array of European and Ukrainian cuisine. Breakfast
is served in the Russian Hall from 7am, and room service is available
around the clock. The hotel can cater for anything from small personal
parties to receptions and ceremonies for 500 guests, as well as wedding
parties and national holidays celebrations.
Business Facilities
A conference hall seating up to 260 people is available, along with audiovisual
equipment. Room partitions can transform the hall into six separate rooms,
and the two banquet halls are particularly suited to food functions. Coffee
breaks and cocktails can be served in any of these locations.
