Introduction
Owned and managed by
the same Graz family since 1910, Das Weitzer is that rare beast - a large
hotel (in fact the largest in the city) with a soul. Centrally located
and extravagantly equipped, we believe the hotel to be the best in its
class in town. Drivers should note that Das Weitzer has a large car park.
Location
On the bank of the River
Mur and close to most of the major tourist sights of Graz, including the
picturesque Old Town, Das Weitzer is in a location that it would be hard
to beat. Business travellers might like to know that the hotel is only
a five minute walk away from the Grazer Congress centre.
Bedrooms
Rooms are all generously
proportioned and are individually decorated in a combination of art nouveau
and modern styles. They all feature satellite TV, radio and mini-bar.
Both non-smoking rooms and suites - some of them huge - are available.
Restaurants
Two excellent restaurants
serve both international cuisine and regional, Styrian, specialities.
Styria is probably more famous for its wines than its food, and you'll
find plenty of the grape's finest on offer here, not least in the hotel's
wine bar. There is also a lobby bar and a Viennese cafe.
Business Facilities
Twelve seminar rooms
offer both size - they can hold up to 300 people - and flexibility, while
the hotel's business lounge is well equipped with facilities including
PC, modem, fax, printer and internet access.
