Introduction
The Hotel d'Angleterre
has a lake-side position, great views of Lake Geneva to Mont Blanc, dates
back to 1872, and is renowned for its Swiss hospitality.
Location
The hotel lies in the
heart of Geneva's shopping and financial districts, and 15 minutes away
from the airport and five minutes away from the railway station. It's
also no more than an hour away from Alpine skiing, which isn't too bad,
really. It's a lot closer than you probably are at the moment, anyway.
Bedrooms
45 individually decorated
and colour-coordinated rooms are available, many with private balconies
and views of Lake Geneva, all with sound-proofed walls, computer jacks,
personal safe, cable TV and fax lines.
Restaurants
The restaurant will be more than happy to serve you traditional English
tea, or let you compose your own culinary treat, be it French cuisine
or a quick snack. You can also mingle with other guests at The Leopard
Bar & Lounge.
Business Facilities
The function rooms are beautifully decorated in period furnishings, and
can hold reception for up to 250 people.
