Introduction
Dating from the 14 century,
the building now used as the Azalea hotel was once the charming home of
prominent members of the local gentry and also contained a small brewery.
Combing character and high levels of service - for example, private parking

Brugge, but also in a quiet spot, the Azalea is perfectly located along
the side of the Speelmansrei canal.
Bedrooms
Rooms are beautifully
decorated and spacious but, best of all, come with stunning views over
the canal and leafy gardens. Elegance and charm don't get in the way of
facilities, however. These include TV, radio, mini-bar, hairdryer, trouser
press and tea and coffee-making equipment.
Restaurants
Buffet breakfasts are dished up in the hotel's splendidly evocative dining
room. Meanwhile, the bar enjoys views over the canal and gardens and has
an attractive terrace for use in fine weather.
