Bruges, Belgium: Culture
Art lovers should head for the works of the Flemish painters at the Groeninge Museum (Van Eyck, Memling, Bosch and Bruegel), the studies of Bruges by local born English artist Frank Brangwyn at the Brangwyn Museum, or the early Flemish artist Hans Memling at the Memling Museum. The Procession of the Holy Blood (see above - Heilig-Bloed Basiliek) takes place on Ascension Day every year.
