Introduction
A really special hotel
full of interesting and unique features, the Grünau is also well located
for transport links and some of the most beautiful natural scenery in
the Berlin area. The hotel has a sauna, steam bath and tanning studio
and, much more unusually, a pneumatic post system via which drinks can
be ordered!
Location
Set in pleasant woodland
between the Havel and Spree rivers, near the Langer See lake, close to
Berlin-Schonefeld airport, Grünau Hotel has other excellent transport
connections. It is just 800m metres from a station linking it the city
(a journey of a few minutes) and a short drive to a motorway.
Bedrooms
Rooms are elegantly decorated.
All rooms come with TV, phone and ISDN connection. Many come with mini-bar
and fax connection.
Restaurants
Two restaurants provide a good range of food. Dittmans Drogerie is a wonderful
restaurant, dating back to 1904, which has a lovely summer terrace, while
the Kellerexpress is an intriguing place - a restaurant set in an old
first class railway carriage.
Business Facilities
Air-conditioned conference rooms, with a top capacity of 150 people, are
equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
